Our Campus

The Wetherill School is located at 1321 Beaumont Drive in a quiet residential neighborhood in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania on a private wooded 7-acre campus. We are housed in the Gladwyne Presbyterian Church, but the School is independent and unaffiliated with the church.

Our morning classrooms include children of ages 2 years 7 months by September 1 through kindergarten age, with a maximum of 18 children in each classroom with a Montessori/state certified teacher and an aide.

Our campus boasts a large fenced playground complete with a large shaded play structure that offers opportunities for climbing and sliding, a sandbox, large wooden building blocks, a water exploration table, and two garden beds for vegetables and flowers, and more. Our children play outdoors all year long, in sunshine, drizzle, and especially in snow!

The woods offer walking trails to explore where children learn about trees, leaves, plants and the local fauna as well. The children enjoy finding treasures from nature to bring back to the classrooms to discover even more.
